CS201 Introduction to Programming assignment No 2 solution Fall 2010

Problem Statement: Comparing two arrays for equality or matching indexes

You are required to write a program which will take input from user in two integer arrays. The program should compare both arrays for checking if both arrays are totally identical (Exactly same). If not, then program should determine the matching indexes of both arrays. Matching indexes means that first element of array1 should be equal to first element of array2 and so on.

Example of two identical (Exactly same) arrays:

Array1 Array2
1 1
2 2
3 3
5 5
7 7
9 9
11 11
13 13
15 15
17 17

Example of two arrays with some matching elements:

Array1 Array2
1 7
2 9
3 3
5 4
7 6
9 8
11 11
13 15
8 8
17 17

Here elements on index 3, 7, 9, and 10 of both arrays are same.

Detailed Description:

The program should take 10 integer inputs from user in arrray1 and array2.
After taking inputs in both arrays, you should pass both arrays to a function named match.
If both arrays are exactly same, the program should display a message “Both arrays are identical”.
If both arrays are not exactly same, then program should match the indexes which have same elements in both arrays and display the matching indexes.
If there is no element matching in both arrays, the program should display a message
“There is no matching element in both arrays”.
Implementation regarding comparison of arrays and displaying message should be inside the function match.

Correct organization of a business message is important for both the audience and the communicator? Explain.

Good organization of a business message means that the subject and the purpose of that particular message is made clear. The purpose of good organization is to basically help you audience comprehend exactly what you are trying to communicate.

The most common mistakes that companies tend to make are that they tend to ramble on in their message that is they tend to waste valuable customer time, Resulting in the customer feeling disinterested in the message. Apart from that other common mistakes of unorganized business messages are the mixing up of ideas and skipping out on necessary information. Mgt401 Assignment Solution question 1 Fall 2010

Question No. 2Haleeb Foods, a renowned name in dairy farming industry in Pakistan has incurred the following expenditure during the current year. You are required to identify how these costs should be treated in the financial statements of Haleeb Foods according to IAS-38?

Part (a) Rs.175, 000 spent on the design of a new product and it is assumed that this new design will require the next three years period to be developed and ready for tested with a view to production in four years' time. Answer: According to IAS38, costs spend on the design are development cost; we will capitalize these costs and will right off against sale in the profit and loss account. After deducting cost from sale, we gets gross profit from which further we deduct other expenses and taxes and gets net profit or net loss.

Part (b) Rs.650, 000 incurred on the testing of a new production system which designed by the company itself and start to operate during the following accounting period. By using this new system it is predicted that there will be a cut off in cost of production by 20%.

Mgt401 Assignment Solution

Question No. 1 You are required to identify with brief reasons at which value the inventory will be recognized in each case according to IAS-2?
Part (a) Materials bought at cost of Rs.15 000 for further processing and assembling in order to fulfill a profitable special order. It is observed that cost price has fallen to Rs.12000 since buying these items. Answer: According to IAS 2, the inventory will be recognized on net realizable value (expected selling price which is 12000- selling cost if any- further completion cost) because the selling price of this asset is declined from 15000 to 12000. According to IAS 2, the cost of an item is not recoverable if the selling price of an inventory declines, and we will show these inventories on net realizable value. We will have to estimate the net realizable value NRV of inventory in each accounting period. When these circumstances will no longer exist (the expected selling price of this inventory will increase

Part (b)
Expected selling price of the inventory is 20000 Further conversion cost RS 3000 is required to complete in order to meet certain regulations. But the point here is that both parties will meet equally the extra cost of conversion, we will divide (3000/2= 1500 because both parties will equally meet the extra cost of conversion) and 1500 will be charged to company ABC and this we will subtract this amount from the expected selling price to calculate NRV. So net realizable value: 20000-1500=18500 And cost incurred to date is 19200. So we will show this inventory on net realizable value (18500) because according to IAS 2, inventories are valued at lower of the cost or net realizable value. Here, net realizable value is less than the cost of the inventory. So we will show this inventory on net realizable value.

Lean to Register your site or blog in Search Engines like yahoo msn and google

As we know that the main reasons to write in the blog is that they hope their writing could be read by others or blog visitors. More people or visitors will make us happy and proud, especially when they give some comments on our writing. For making the people come to our blog and then read our postings are not easy. We need high publication in order to increase the traffic.
We can use many ways to make our blogs famous and get many traffics, such as blog walking or visiting
others blogs. Registering to various aggregator
and the most effective ways is through the search engine.
For new bloggers, they have a wrong assumption. They might think that after making blogs, their blogs will be detected by search engine or listed in all sorts of search engine automatically. The fact is not like that. Like a school, we absolutely have to register in that school so that our name is listed in a student list. Just as a search engine, to make our blog detected by search engine, we have to submit our blogs to some search engines.
There are many search engines here and recently, the most famous ones are Google, yahoo, and Msn.

Sign up in Google
To register in Google, please visit http://www.google.com/addurl/, and if you are in registering page, you must fill in available form;
  • URL --  ; Fill in your URL blog
  • Comments -; Fill in the related keywords to your blogs.
  • Fill in the blank square with the verification code available.
  • Click Add URL.
  • Finished

As soon as your submission to Google, it doesn’t mean that your blog would have an index in Google search engine. It will need about 3 until 4 weeks for new blog to be able to have an index. After 3 or 4 weeks, try to type your URL blog in Google search engine. If your blog still can not be detected, you will have to wait for a couple of week again. If it is not detected yet, you must submit your blog again as the steps above.
Or, you might not be patient and want your blog detected soon by Google search engine.

Register Site in yahoooooo
In order to register in yahoo, please visit this site https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit. Before registering here, make sure that you have yahoo account. Why you need yahoo account? Teachers not see us they can't know us and they have no knowledge about our education and mental caliper. That's why they send same lectures. It is difficult to understand for every student.

Suggestions:
We wants that lectures are delivered in mix language which can be easily understand.
Sometime teachers use new words I want please give his explanation on the spot.
It is necessary for us, when we listen our lecture we close our room and listen with full consideration.
When make the polices must account that you have different type of students.
When we join university we meet one time with our teacher and introduce our self.

The links between HR effectiveness and organizational effectiveness could be explored from different conceptual angles. In this particular empirical study, the focus is on the multiple links that exist between certain HR policies and practices (i.e., staffing, compensation, training and the like), the characteristics of the HR Department (i.e., ratio of professionals, average level of education, and others), and the overall economic performance / success of the firm.

Organizations must determine their strategic direction and the outcomes they seek. This is usually accomplished with some form of strategic planning. Classic strategic planning is a formal, top-down, staff-driven process. When done well, it is workable at a time when external change occurs at a more measured pace. Plans and strategies are so fundamental that there must be clear plans to address them before the organisation can achieve on any of its goals. These are likely to include:

• Workforce planning issues
• succession planning
• workforce skills plans
• employment equity plans
• black economic empowerment initiatives

Suppose HR has a policy to only hire applicants who are college graduates (they are an engineering firm). Management decides to embark on a new strategy of constructing some of the units they have designed. The HR policy would work for the construction manager, but not for the welders, pipe fitters, electricians, painters, insulators, etc. that they would need to complete such projects.
